About Shrewsbury Flower Show
The Shrewsbury Flower Show stands as one of the UK's premier floral events, renowned for attracting top horticulturists and exhibitors from across the country. This prestigious show is organised by a dedicated team of over 100 volunteers and a small permanent staff, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
The Show features floral displays, TV personalities, live music, celebrity chefs, and spectacular arena acts, as well as many craft & food stalls which offer shopping experiences.
Event Highlights:
- - Quarry Marquee: This non-competitive marquee showcases some of the country’s leading horticulturists. With high standards and intense competition, it is a highlight of the show, with judging occurring on Thursday, prior to the evening drinks party for Society members.
- - Show Gardens: The popularity of the Show Gardens continues to grow, featuring intricate and creative designs. Judging for these gardens takes place on Friday morning before the show officially opens.
- - Severn Marquee: Home to various societies and amateur growers, this marquee is known for its vibrant displays and fierce competition among amateur participants. Judging occurs on Friday morning.
- - Dingle Marquee: This space features popular Floral Art Exhibitions, the WI, and the "Ask the Expert" sessions, providing a diverse range of floral displays and educational opportunities.
- - Lecture Theatre: The show also includes an active Lecture Theatre, offering informative talks and presentations throughout the event.
