The Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph presents the collection's architectural sports-watch design entirely in deep black ceramic. Its 42mm case and faceted bezel surround a gradient grey dial engraved with Zenith's four-pointed star pattern. Luminous faceted hour markers and hands are joined by three chronograph counters and a date display at 4:30. The watch includes both a two-link black ceramic bracelet with a double-folding clasp and a patterned black rubber strap with a steel folding clasp, connected through Zenith's quick-change system.

The Swiss-made El Primero 3600 automatic column-wheel chronograph operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour and measures elapsed time to 1/10th of a second, with its central chronograph hand completing one revolution every ten seconds. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement features a blued column wheel, star-shaped rotor and approximately 60-hour power reserve. A screw-down crown, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and water resistance to 100 metres complete this technically accomplished Zenith ceramic chronograph.
