Created in collaboration with the Tomioka Silk Promotion Organisation, the limited-edition Seiko Presage Classic Series HCC008J1 celebrates the historic silk-producing culture of Japan's Tomioka region. Limited to only 2,000 worldwide, its Shironeri white dial features a dramatic wave pattern and pearl-painted finish inspired by the smooth lustre and delicate texture of premium Gunma-Hoso raw silk. A rose gold-coloured 38mm stainless steel case and finely knurled bezel provide a warm contrast to the luminous dial, while the brown leather strap is secured by a push-button deployment clasp. Dual-curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective inner coating provides lasting clarity and protection.

Inside is the Seiko calibre 6R51 automatic movement, equipped with manual winding, 24 jewels, a stop-seconds function, and an approximate 72-hour power reserve. The movement is displayed through the sapphire crystal exhibition case back, which is engraved with the individual serial number and Limited Edition wording. Offering 100-metre water resistance, this distinctive Presage supports the preservation of Tomioka's silk industry through the donation of a proportion of its sales.
