Diamond Colour

The colour of a diamond refers to how clear a diamond appears. Diamonds that appear colourless are more rare and therefore often more desirable, whilst diamonds with more of a yellow tinge are less desirable and usually cheaper. Diamond colour is graded using an alphabet scale ranging from D to Z with D being colourless and Z being more yellow.

*Please note: Diamonds with a poor colour grading, and therefore more yellow, are not to be confused with fancy yellow diamonds. Fancy yellow diamonds showcase a naturally beautiful, bright yellow colour rather than a faded yellow colour associated with a poorly graded diamond.
